Random Wacom Drawings

So I've been thinking on ways to make the updating process of GameLandEtc. easier, and as it turns out I'd rather not skip the sketch process altogether. However, I'd still like to try a comic that is done purely with the Wacom tablet in black and white and updates more frequently (as in, whenever I can be bothered to just ink some stuff together). Depending on how things go I may resort to sketches anyway, since it helps plan things out and such, but the being black and white in smaller panels would help a lot.

However, don't know what sort of comic I would make. I've considered game reviews in strip form, but I can't make such a simple review. I have to embellish, and turning it into a joke just isn't my skill. Rereading DM of the Rings this weekend brought to mind a concept of a bunch of dungeon monsters as the main characters waiting for heroes to come and kill (which was then abruptly described in the notes by Shamus, the bastard), and yet at the same time I wonder if I should try a dark comedy instead so it would give me room to try and do a good plot. Something like There Will Be Brawl, only much funnier.

Can't think of anything right now, though. I'll think on it for a while. I had an idea for a comic called Red Shirt, which is what you see in panel three, but I'm thinking....nah. Panels 1 and 2 would be the D&D one. Panel 6 is a random dragon to see if I can still draw bad ass shit and it look good. Panel 5 is a shitty Mega Man, teaching me my limits on lacking pencil sketchings first. Panel 4 is the cast of Left 4 Dead.

In fact, after that panel I'm leaning towards a potential L4D based comic. In any case, if anyone thinks they can work well together throwing about funny comic ideas, give a shout. I'm welcome to ideas.

How come Louis and Zoey don't have descriptions like Bill and Francis? Like is black, has boobs.

You could just have a Random Shit strip where you just do a comic of whatever comes to mind. One day L4D another day Shakespeare.

For some reason I hate the idea of a random shit strip. I like having actual characters but also the freedom to occasionally throw in something random in between if it occurs to me.

Still, might be better to play around with that instead of try and come up with something specific.

The D&D monsters idea reminds me of a sketch from the Mr Hell Show, about a group of Video Game bad guys when the game wasn't being played. One of them was a level 3 baddie and complaining about how the union should be trying to ban Memory Cards, since he's been out of work for months now that the player doesn't need to start the game again each time.
