Two interesting things about this strip today. Firstly, it wasn't meant to be so long. It was meant to end with Bryn getting shot in the eye. Phil threw in the idea of Bryn ripping his pupil out, and I actually liked it quite a bit.

In the end, not sure if the strip is stronger or weaker for it. As I stated before, I'm a proponent for a comic being forever where and when it can be, not just having a punch line. Yet that doesn't mean you need to extend a strip longer than it must be extended.

As for the rest, I originally wrote this strip to use lyrics from Demons & Wizards' song The Gunslinger, where Wendal shouts "The word is the Law, Law is KA!" before firing at Bryn. Not completely sure why I changed it. Could be that using the lyrics would have made little sense in the long run.

Though considering we just went through the death of Wendal's dad, I'm not sure a line like "Have I forgotten the face of my father?" is...well, it's an odd thing for him to say.
