Despite the length, the simplicity of the gameplay keeps it worth coming back to.

A whole lot of great games released in 2005, but a lot of them weren’t big sellers. In fact, many of them have been forgotten in this rush of sequels to a “hardcore” market or desperate attempts to seduce the “casual” market, leaving a lot of potential left behind to never be seen again.
For better or worse, 2004 was a major milestone in gaming. The launch of the DS, the announcement of XNA and the release of tons and tons of sequels all set the stage for what would happen in the next few years of gaming.
