For better or worse, 2004 was a major milestone in gaming. The launch of the DS, the announcement of XNA and the release of tons and tons of sequels all set the stage for what would happen in the next few years of gaming.
The year 2003 had a lot of abysmal failures as well as memorable successes.
A new television channel that would go from boring to terrible, the revival of everyone’s female bounty hunter, the merging of two juggernauts (followed by that same juggernaut merging with another juggernaut) and more occurred in 2002.
The year we were supposed to discover the monolith on the moon actually brought about the greatest franchise juggernauts of the decade. Who knew?
The year 2000 had quite a few hits. Unfortunately I know nothing about most of them! So to kick this off you lucky folks get a pretty short list.
