Classic Lucas Arts games get Steamy

By Chris Cesarano

imageRemember some of those old Lucas Arts favorites from back in the day? The company officially announced today that they will be releasing several classics through the Steam digital download service throughout the future. Unfortunately, the first ten will likely not be what anyone was truly looking for, such as Day of the Tentacle, Full Throttle or Grim Fandango. The games that are made available this Wednesday are:

  • Armed and Dangerous
  • Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis
  • Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade: the Graphical Adventure
  • Indiana Jones: the Original Adventure
  • LOOM
  • Star Wars Battlefront II
  • Star Wars Republic Commando
  • Star Wars Starfighter
  • The Dig
  • Thrillville: Off the Rails

If you have been dying to play some of those classics, or even missed out on them, then Wednesday is your chance. From the sounds of it, Lucas Arts plans on releasing more in the future, so just because your favorite adventure of yesteryear isn’t there now doesn’t mean it won’t be later.
